10 Easy and Fun Easter Ideas for Kids

Posted by: | Comments (0)

I’ve compiled some easy and fun ideas to do with your kids in the few days leading up to Easter this weekend. From cookies to artwork, dying eggs for family and friends to growing little cress eggs heads, there’s surely something that will occupy your kids and get them in the Easter spirit!

Easter Egg Cookies

An easy recipie with mini eggs, white and dark chocolate chunks – kids will love them!

Decorating Easter Biscuits

Arrowroots, lollies or sprinkles to decorate and an easy icing recipie. So easy!

Easter Nests

Just 5 ingredients – how cute are these?

Eggy Cress Heads

I LOVE this idea! So easy to do and the kids will love checking their egg heads every morning waiting for the cress to appear!

Drip Dyed Easter Eggs

Oh these look so fantastic and are so fun to make! Follow the easy instructions by clicking the link above.

Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs

This will take a little longer but it’s a great way to experiment using natural colours using:

Beets: Red / Yellow Onion Peels: Orange  / Purple Cabbage: Green/Blue / Turmeric: Yellow / Red Onion Peels: Reddish Brown / Frozen Blueberries: Grey/violet

Bunny Biscuits

So cute! And super easy if you use a chocolate chip cookie mix to make the biscuits!

Bunny Cottontails

Probably the easiest thing to make – the hardest part is waiting 30 mins for them to set!

Easter Egg Marshmellow Slice

A great recipe to take for any friend or family gatherings over Easter weekend. No baking needed but it’s super yummy!

Paint Filled Eggs

A little bit of preparation required, but this is SO much fun!!!
