What: Come along to Mini GymbaROO Coffs Harbour to have lots of fun with your infant and child while learning about early childhood development. Classes are developmentally age appropriate and loads of fun! Bring your child along to crawl, creep, jump, hop, swing, roll, tumble, hang, climb, sing and dance their way to healthy physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.

Classes available: BabyROO classes (mobile and non-mobile babies), Penguins/Koalas (1-2yrs), Wallabies/Kangaroos (2-3yrs) and Possums (3-4yrs). They also run a sensory movement program for all ages.

What:  At Ballare Development School we pride ourselves on encouraging children to excell in the dance world. Classes in the RAD and ADV ballet syllabus’s provide students with the technique required for ballet dance. Classes in contemporary and modern expressive provide students with a freer dance style. To further develop technique and flexibility we also provide classical technique, body conditioning, stretch and lines classes.

Children are encouraged to choose dance classes/styles that appeal most to them ensuring they fully experience the joy that dancing has to offer. Classes for children and teens aged 6 to 18yrs are available, as well as a specialised pre-schooler program for children 2-6yrs. Enquire for class fees and times.

What: The highly acclaimed Petit Performance Program, a division of C?rnivalé Dance Company, is tailored to pre-school students aged from 18 months to 5 years. Under the caring direction of Artistic Director Jacqueline Carniato, with over 30 years experience in dance & entertainment, the C?rnivalé crew ensure that the individuality and creative potential of each student is embraced and nurtured.

The classes are presented in a friendly, encouraging, and positive environment; the choreography, music & costuming is age-appropriate. As the levels progress through this delightful program students are introduced to the basic principles of classical ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and musical theatre and provides the perfect mix of inspiration, technical training, discipline and appreciation for the performing arts. Students’ progress from the petit program into the company’s junior division for students aged 5 – 12 years: offering exams, eisteddfods & other performances. There are two convenient CBD training centres; bookings are essential as class sizes are kept to a minimum.

Coffs Harbour Physie and Dance is a part of the Australian Physie and Dance Association (APDA). Under the direction of Australia’s finest creative Physie instructors and choreographers, we offer the opportunity of exploring dance, rhythm and music in a safe and nurturing environment with a friendly and supportive atmosphere designed to make dance and fitness fun and rewarding!
Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Physettes – preschool age Juniors – 5-12 yrs Seniors – 13/14/15yrs, intermediate seniors and open seniors Ladies – beginner, intermediate, open ladies.

Small Steps

Held at Sawtell Public School, Small Steps aims promote the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of children through fun, active, supportive and educational classes.  For preschoolers, toddlers, babies & crawlers. Clasees are on a TUESDAY at Sawtell Public Schoo. Preschoolers @ 9.15 and toddlers @ 10am .

Coffs Coast Physie

Physical Culture, or Physie (pronounced ‘fizzy’), is a sport for girls from 3 years up which aims to build confidence, good posture, strength, grace, fitness and flexibility through exercise. A friendly and supportive club, a positive atmosphere, a dedicated team of teachers and a whole lot of fun.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and start with “Physie Fairies” for ages 3/4yrs right up to classes for adults and seniors.
