5 things for under $5 this weekend (Christmas-y things to do with your Kids)
By1. FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT
Ch9 at 7.30 The Polar Express
then at 9.40pm is Christmas with the Kranks
Or on Ch7 at 8.30pm is Santa Clause
Cost: nothing (except maybe some microwave popcorn)
2. MAKE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS
Saturday at the Coffs Regional Library from 10am – midday. Make Christmas decorations.
Cost: gold coin donation
3. SEE COOL BIKES
Go to Jetty Foreshores BBQ area from 1pm where the riders from the 17th Annual Motorcycle Charity Toy Run will be finishing their ride. View the bikes on display, have lunch and donate a new or pre-loved toy, gift card or non-perishable food item.
Cost: gold coin donation for lunch or bring a picnic.
4. WRITE A LETTER TO SANTA
Get kids to write a letter to Santa and decorate. If you post it before 17th Dec your kids will get a reply before Christmas. See the Australia Post website for more details. http://auspost.com.au/christmas/santa.html
Cost: 60cents (for a stamp to send to the North Pole)
5. GET A FREE CHRISTMAS DVD
Sunday (12th) buy the Sunday Telegraph and get a free Seseme Street Carols DVD
