Children’s Book Week – Coming Up!

We’re BIG fans of books here at Coffs for Kids so we like that Children’s Book Week is coming up soon: 17th – 23rd August.
And my theory is, you can never have too many books which is why there are A LOT of books in our house. And both of my kids have developed a real passion and love for books, which is SO great to see!
Book Week is the longest running children’s festival in Australia now in its 68th year! This year’s theme is “Read Across the Universe.”
The Library is holding a colouring in competition as part of Children’s Book Week. Open to all children with books, stationery and art supplies as the prizes.
There are four age groups: preschool/ K-Yr2 / Yr3-Yr6/Yr7-Yr12.
The colouring in pages will be displayed at the Library from 12th August, with judging on the 30th August. You can drop off your entries to any of the library branches during this time. The art work will make the Library look bright and cheerful during Book Week!
