Favourite thing is just to watch is the wonder, excitement & anticipation in my girls faces as the season progresses, at the sight of lights, the sound of carols & the opportunity to give others some of their less used toys so they can get something special in return from Santa. Nothing like the joy shared with children 😀
To sit by the wood fire with close family and friends while all the kids play together… Christmas is not about the gifts u get or give out but the friends and family who our there for you know matter what.
We love spending time together as a family, making Christmas goodies, telling stories, singing Christmas carols and being thankful for everything we have. Especially each other.
After spending the morning letting the children play with their gifts and after a lovely lunch we like to take a stroll along the beach and let the children play on he waters edge!
My favourite thing to do at Christmas is spend the days leading up to and after Christmas with all those in our lives that mean so much to us. But I must also admit that watching my children’s faces as they open their presents on christmas morning is one if my favourite things.
after taking a tour of the christmas lights I love to sit with my kids on christmas eve, share the Christmas story from the bible, sing carols together and share our highlights of the year, what we are thankful for. then we have a treat and open on small pressie from each other and off to bed. on Christmas day we have a big healthy brekky (mangoes strawberries etc) and the youngest child picks the first gift from under tree to give to someone, then that person opens it as we all watch and then the first recipient picks next gift to give (has to be a different person each time so it’s fair). I love Christmas – my favorite time of year
We love to put up Xmas lights and on Xmas eve we get together with neighbours and friends out the front of our house and have a drink or two and watch the cars drive by and listen to the joy that our lights have brought too heaps of people .At late night then a early morning woken by two little people checking to see what Santa has left.
We love waiting for our boy to wake up and see what santa left for him.(his face just makes the day)The rest of the day is filled with family gatherings lovely food and nothing like heading down the beach for that christmas swim.
