Scarecrows and worms

We here at Coffs for Kids love worms, compost, no-dig gardens and scarecrows, so we are excited about the Botanica Day planned at the Botanic Gardens this Sunday, 17th October.

Part of the very first Sustainability Festival for Coffs Harbour there are lots of stalls, walks and talks planned as well as a special program for kids that looks very interesting:

• 10.00 – 2pm   Catchment Activity Model (on the hour)
• 10.00 – 3pm   Storytelling (on the hour and half hour)
• 10.00 – 2pm   Circus Skills, PCYC (all day) 
• 10.15am        No Dig Gardening Demonstration
• 10.15am        Princess Maddie Puppet Show
• 10.30am        Start of Kids Scarecrow Competition
• 12.00pm        Princess Maddie Puppet Show
• 12.30pm        Composting. How and Why
• 2.00pm          Princess Maddie Puppet Show

So pack a lunch, pack your picnic rug and we will see you there!
