I started compiling this over the past week or so then have just been finishing it off when we’ve been recommended to keep kids at home where it is “practically possible.”

It’s going to be a strange and tough time to get through but as I said to my friend today, take one day at a time. Find little sparks of joy in everything. Get back to basics. Do gardening, have a picnic in the backyard, play boardgames, teach your kids to cook. Bake bread! This is an opportunity for us to slow down, revaluate our lives and hit the ‘pause’ button. It will all end in time but for now, try and embrace our new lives. And remember, your kids are just as confused and scared and anxious as you are. But we are all in this together and we WILL get through it.

So, from opera to kid’s workouts, live cam of Melbourne Zoo to cooking lessons, there’s a great range of activities here and I’ll be adding to it.

Best wishes, stay safe! x Alison
