Tumblebooks!
ByThe Coffs Harbour Libraries was one of the reasons all those years ago that I started the Coffs for Kids website. I wanted to share events and activities that were on for kids in the Coffs area such as the weekly story time, school holidays activities and the 10 Minutes a Day program.
BUT the library is much more than that! Over the next few months I will be working with the library to share with you some of the fantastic resources and support for kids and parents the library has to offer, which you may not know about – we don’t want to keep the secret to ourselves….!
Do any of these sounds familiar?
You’ve been hit with this terrible flu that seems to be hitting the whole of Coffs Harbour, but we all know Mummy can’t really spend the day in bed especially if you have little ones not in school. How to occupy the kids without leaving them in front of the TV all day?
You do a little bit of work or study from home and need to do something done urgently but your toddler or pre-schooler needs to be entertained.
OR you’ve got sick school kids at home, how do you keep them quiet and happy and occupied without resorting to them playing Minecraft or watching TV all day?
Well now parents have a new secret weapon – TUMBLEBOOKS!
Tumblebooks is one of many great resources at Coffs Harbour Libraries AND you don’t even have to leave the house! Tumblebooks is online and is an exciting, interactive way to introduce children to new stories and adventures in learning. With nearly 1,000 titles the Tumblebooks collection includes books, games, quizzes, videos and language learning for kids aged 2 – 10. All you need is an internet connection and you can access Tumblebooks across multiple devices.
